நினைவும் மறதியும் அற்ற ஆன்மிக நிலையைக் கண்டுகொள்ள அடியேனுக்குத் தேவரீரின் தாமரை மலர்களையொத்த இரு திருவடிகளை அருள்வதற்கென்று மனம் இரங்குவீராக! கேட்ட வரங்களை அளிக்கும் மூர்த்தியே! திருமுருகப்பெருமானே! மயில் வாகனக் கடவுளே! அருவருப்புக்குரிய அசுரனாகிய சூரபன்மனைத் தேவரீரின் வேலாயுதத்தால் பிளந்தவரே!

Please be compassionate enough to grant me the boon of attaining Your lotus-flower-like Sacred Feet, so that I could have the means of seeking the spiritual status, bereft of both memory and forgetfulness! O, God Thirumurugapperumaan! You are riding the peacock as the vehicle, and You are graciously granting all the boons asked by Your devotees! You are the Lord, who split open the ugly demon Soorapanman with Your weapon of lance!
