[தியானிக்கப்படும் பொருளை, பசு, பாசம் பற்றிய அறிவைக் கொண்டு தியானிக்காமல், பதிஞானத்தைத் தியானித்து அறிகின்ற வழியைத்] தனிச் சிறப்புமிக்க வேலாயுதத்தை உடைய திருமுருகப்பெருமான் அடியேனுக்கு உபதேசித்தருளியவுடனே, உலகத்தாருடன் கொண்டொழுகும் நெருங்கிய உறவுகள், வாக்கு, மனம், அறிவு ஆகியவற்றோடு அறியாமையும் நீங்கி ஒழிந்தனவே!

English Meaning

The close relationships, which I have with the world's people, as well as [my] speech, mind, knowledge and ignorance, were all removed and destroyed as soon as Thirumurugapperumaan, who has the unique great lance, graciously expounded to me [the method of meditating upon a thing by meditating upon the God's wisdom instead of meditating upon the knowledge concerning the soul and one's attachment to things and persons]!
