ஒப்பற்ற வேலாயுதத்தை ஏந்திய திருமுருகப்பெருமான் நமது குரு என்று, அப்பெருமானின் திருவருளால் அறியாதவர் அப்பெருமானின் திருவருளை அறியும் தன்மையுடையவரோ? மெய்ப்பொருளாகிய திருமுருகப்பெருமான், உருவமுடையவரும் அல்லர்; உருவமற்றவரும் அல்லர்; உள்ளதோர் பொருளும் அல்லர்; இல்லாத பொருளும் அல்லர்; இருள் சூழ்ந்த பொருளும் அல்லர்; ஒளி பொருந்திய பொருளும் அல்லர்!

Lord Thirumurugapperumaan, who is the Supreme Being is neither one of form, nor formlessness, nor an entity, which exists, nor an entity, which does not exist, nor a thing surrounded by darkness, nor a thing full of effulgence!
